Spam from the other end.

It appears that, once again, my email domain is being used as the “From” line in a crapload of spam, because I’m getting a crapload of delivery errors and unknown logins. At least no one replies to it anymore chewing me out. (Or they do, and it gets caught by my own spamfilter.)

Spammers die die die if you have to resort to tricks then you aren’t selling anything worth buying.

  1. I wish there was a way to stop this sort of crap. I’ve seen the error messages, but the weird ones are the warnings for viruses my domain supposedly sent (but did not). So far all that seems to work is to make a catch-all address for random gibberish that’s not sent to an address I use.

  2. You are not the only one… I really love those mailer-daemon messages from AOL because of bounced email that doesn’t exisit. I wish my procmailrc would work so I can purge those messages. Too bad SA doesn’t have a reciepe for this problem. blarg
