It totally freaked me out.<\/p>\n<p><!--more FFXI complaining within-->But anyway&#8230; I&#8217;m starting to get very frustrated at FFXI.  There are so many things that I want to do, some of which I really <i>need<\/i> to do, but I&#8217;m not able to because they require groups of people, and people are either unavailable to do things, or do them when I&#8217;m not around.  True, I just joined an HNMLS, but I haven&#8217;t been able to participate in any of their events so far, because I don&#8217;t have my skypass for access to the Shrine of Ru&#8217;Avitau.  The things I still need other people for that are pissing me off, from greatest to least:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Promyvion &#8211; Holla<\/b>.   I&#8217;ve been stuck on this one forever.  I only got Mea and Dem recently, and I&#8217;ve died twice in Holla.  People are getting through all three and moving on to the next missions, and I&#8217;m going to be left behind again on them.  I was livid that people did them last night, with very little warning, and I wasn&#8217;t around.  So now there&#8217;s six fewer people in the Linkshell who need it, which reduces my chances of ever getting through.\n<li><b>Zilart missions<\/b>.  Having only recently gotten Rank 6, I&#8217;ve started this, but haven&#8217;t done anything.  This is what I need to get my sky pass so I can actually start going to fight gods.  Scionith, the leader of the HNMLS, has started organizing a Zilart mission run to get a few of us up to snuff, so this may be happening soon.\n<li><b>Further San d&#8217;Orian Rank<\/b>.  There are items I want to get with CP at almost every rank up to rank 10.  There&#8217;s a group who may be getting together next Saturday, but that&#8217;s a day that a bunch of people are coming over to my house to watch movies.  I&#8217;m sorely tempted to just disappear upstairs for a few hours during the day.  I&#8217;m always the lowest rank person in any exp party I&#8217;m in.  It&#8217;s not functionally hampering me, but it&#8217;s still frustrating.\n<li><b>Mannequin parts<\/b>.  I&#8217;ve had mannequin legs and feet <i>forever<\/i>.  I need to do the BCNMs to get the other three parts so I can finish that stupid quest, but people don&#8217;t do them.  People may be more likely in the near future, as they&#8217;re introducing something in the next patch that requires a complete mannequin.\n<li><b>Other BCNMs<\/b>.  I&#8217;ve got over 300 beastmen&#8217;s seals.  Or is it 400?  All I know is I just finished another stack of 99.  That&#8217;s all the seals I&#8217;ve ever gotten, minus the unused level 40 orb that&#8217;s also been sitting in my mogsafe.  There&#8217;s a group trying to get a BLMx6 BCNM40 going, which may actually happen today (and I&#8217;d be leaving work early to do it because I&#8217;m so frustrated that I never get to do things like this).\n<li><b>Hornetneedle<\/b>.  Luke needs this too, and he&#8217;s just as frustrated about it.  I&#8217;ve tried killing the Wespes that drop the Bee Larva necessary to spawn Death From Above, but I&#8217;ve never gotten one.  The two of us may end up just doing it together, although we&#8217;ll probably need a third higher-level person to make the fights go easier.\n<li><b>Leviathan<\/b>.  I only recently got enough Tenshodo fame to get my Tuning Fork of Water.  This one I&#8217;m not as worried about, because there&#8217;s always incentive for people to redo avatar fights (10k gil per).  But then there&#8217;s the next one&#8230;\n<li><b>Fenrir<\/b>.  I&#8217;m probably not quite ready to do this, but by the time it comes, getting a group together for it may be difficult&#8230; I&#8217;m not looking forward to it.\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s all I can think of, anything else is obviously not pissing me off enough for me to remember.  My main problem is that most of the people are on the East Coast, so by the time I&#8217;m getting on, there&#8217;s only a few hours before they&#8217;re going to bed, and that I&#8217;m usually doing things on the weekend.  So unless there&#8217;s something specifically scheduled that I work around, I miss out on most things.  All I&#8217;ve been able to do recently is just gain experience, and so I&#8217;ve gotten ahead of myself.  Then, there&#8217;s the few times where I&#8217;m in an exp party, and something happens I&#8217;d want to do, but I don&#8217;t want to leave the party. The alternative is to just sit around, doing nothing, waiting for something to happen I can latch on to.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, what happens when you hit level 75.
