I’m so considering buying this t-shirt, but I don’t know where I’d be able to wear it for maximum effect.
Just got the HDTV DVR cable box from Comcast, didn’t have too much time to play with it on my lunch break, though… and I think I need some different cables to connect them to the TV. I’m going to try using the DVI->HDMI cable for the fully-digital experience. Supposedly, I can use IEEE 1394 to connect it to the TV, but when I plugged it in, the TV didn’t detect the DVR. I think I’ll have to play with it a bit.
I also forgot to mention that when I first hooked up the TV, I was browsing around on cable for stuff to watch, and I ended up watching the last 3/4 of The Butterfly Effect, and I thought it was pretty cool, I need to catch the first 30 minutes, now, though.
I would slay you, were you to wear that t-shirt in my presence…

Lucky! We are waiting for our DVR unit, but the current hdtv unit looks beautiful! Kinda annoys me of the borders for non-HD, dunno if your is grey but the Sony one we have does that. I wish there was a way to change it to black so it won’t be distracting.
The Butterfly Effect
Actually, you probably won’t gain much from watching the first half hour. It’s just one blackout moment after another, all setup for the rest of the movie. And you’ll be missing out on the creepiness aspect of it, since you already know what’s going to happen.
But your probably going to watch it anyway.
That would be the best t-shirt to wear to a con EVER!
I still say that the “GLOMP ME AND DIE” t-shirt is best for cons. =)
